Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

7d Is - PICK in the grid but you need to change it with the others to get 6 letters to make a word that links all your new ones.

Thanks again! But what a nightmare for me! I have been changing PICK with the other words without arriving at words that are satisfactorily synonymous with the others! I am now begging for just one worked- out example with PICK and another word, and then I should be able to work out the rest on my own! Many thanks in advance!

Blur becomes Blue

Blown becomes Brown

as said previously

PICK becomes Pink

PREEN becomes Green

In the crossword grid you should have -

Preen
Pick
Blur
Blown
Ember
Marion

Change those six , as in the 4 examples given already to make 6 new words.

The changes you make involve one letter per word ,use those 6 letters to make another connecting word.

Mamyalynne, I thank you for you great patience. I was just not thinking in terms of colour, though, in hindsight, the words themselves suggested this.The word genera now falls perfectly into place! Whew, I am quite abashed at being so colour blind! Thanks again for your patience! Do have a great Sunday! I think the canicule here in Rodez, France, and the excitement of the Tour de France have addled my brain somewhat!
