Sorry still not getting ortho dox or author docks....
Ortho is supposed to sound like 'author' (it doesn't to me) and
dox sounds like 'docks'.

I'm afraid ortho sounds nothing like author to me ......

Re: 5d. As an avid solver of the DT I found this stretching the compilers licence to the utmost. An awful clue!!!!! One that should not have been accepted by the DT Crossword Person (whoever he/she is).
