Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Lots of Donaldinho's posts seemed to end up on there.
We may be missing out on retaining some new members who join a two year old thread then can't find it

Thanks all. I'm not sure why my last answer was removed-I was just giving an explanation which is that I've realised that some small groups of users use old threads to have conversations that don't appear in Latest Posts and maybe that's what's happening here

I am sure it's just like a feeding frenzy one person picks up on an old question from a historical menu below without realising the date and the others just join in.

^Thanks, but they don't appear on Latest Posts so I was puzzled as to why so many are joining in. I think the main reason is something to do with people accessing via Google- maybe they enter the crossword name and get a link to an old thread. Anyway, Ed has closed the two main such crossword threads down now.
Anyway, it was just a thought.
