There is a site run by somebody known as Frogman who gives all the answers to the Mephisto and Azed crosswords if you are stuck.

Thanks for the plug, but my site doesn't give ALL the answers. My intention is to give a little help to solvers (particularly those relatively new to Azed/Mephisto) who may be struggling with one or two clues, or who may have worked out an answer but are unsure about the parsing or about a reference in the clue. I try to select the trickier/more interesting clues for comment and (unfortunately) I can't stop myself throwing in the occasional joke 8(

Thanks anyway for the site, Frogman. It gave me my last two answers for today's Mephisto, which, I agree, was quite easy compared to last week's vicious one. I note that very few people now ask for help with Mephisto on the Crossword Clue Solver site, possibly because they all now flock to you for assistance.

Thanks filmbuff - much appreciated. And my apologies if I seemed to be (rudely) contradicting your earlier post - I started doing the blog because I so often saw people on 'help' sites asking for assistance on their last one or two clues and receiving the solution but no explanation of it, which seemed pointless to me, so my aim is very definitely not to spoil peoples' fun by giving them ALL the answers but to provide some 'backup' on the trickier clues if a solver has come up against a cruciverbal brick wall, and perhaps a little insight into some others when the puzzle has been completed. I'll never provide an answer without an explanation (even for a Paul McKenna clue, tempting though that may sometimes be 8))
