It may appear bizarre but it actually happens a lot, Answerprancer. The issue has been raised before with the Ed -e.g.

I wonder if it's to do with people using hand held devices /the mobile version, and the fact that the submit button can now work even if you type nothing. Anyway, one member has reported that Ed has told her the techies are aware there is an issue
Could be the case FF.
If you look at some of the "profiles" of people that ask these questions?
Quite a few have been AB members for years, ask the questions in the same way every time and never reply to their own questions. Their profile usually shows minimal amount of questions and answers for the time they have been members.
Could be "operator error" too.
Yes, most are new users but there are quite a few who have posted okay in the past, taken a break and now seem unable to enter question details- and I wonder if it's because they used to use a laptop/desktop (which are great for AB use) and have now got a new device which doesn't work properly with AB
Could be the case FF, I'm a laptop, desktop user but occasionally when I've been out/away and I've had access to free wifi I've used my Iphone with the "mobile app" and had no problem.
If I log on using my phone AB looks totally different and I go with the flow.
So it appears to me that AB recognises the fact I'm using a mobile (phone) device.
I don't know lozzy- perhaps that theory was wrong. I thought AB Mobile was an option that you had to select (as it is on my laptop) so assumed that if a phone user doesn't choose it he or she would get the non mobile version. When I used a phone for AB (just a basic phone not an iphone) AB just looked teh same but of course I could only see tiny bits at a time.
Anyway, i've just tried the mobile version and it does seem very easy to accidentally submit before you type anything- I submitted a completely blank title and question. In the past AB didn't allow that
