Does EXTRA make sense anyone - lord knows what that has to do with Strauss and scoring - I am going for composers but may be that is the wrong road to go down!!!!
Strauss is a cricketer ??
Could it be Andrew Strauss, ex England cricket captain? A form of scoring in cricket is via an EXTRA (bye, legbye, wide etc)

Just a shot in the dark
Question Author
Thanks Mamyalynne and Captain - know absolutely nothing about cricket but will go with that! Comes of being a septuagenarian not interested in sport - will have to buck up my ideas I think!!!
