Sorry. As ever there is one clue that I don't get. Caught with an alcoholic drink - one found in the kitchen, 5,4 I have s?a?e?r?m. Thre is something called a snare drum. Which fits the catch and drink part but doesn't seem to have anything to do with a kitchen. My usual plea! Can someone advise me please? Steven

The thing I am really enjoying since I discovered crosswords is that I am always ( thanks to all of you!) learning new things. Words obviously but also, like this , not only why words and phrases are used in different ways but also the backgrouds. So today I have learnt about orchestras, their sections and the instruments and players. I enjoyed the articles and imagining the children banging and clattering! Thank you so much.
