1a feels like an anagram
12 lion tamer- but I was expecting a music answer
1 yellow submarine
Is that at an anagram of NEARLY SUBLIME + WI?
I only tried NEARLYSUBLIME+PN
I think there must be an O for nothing now I look.
wouldnt it be

Nearly sublime + o (nothing) w (initially Wrong)
1 w from initially wrong, o from nothing
Yes, I realised that after my 7:15 post. I had discounted the W initially as I thought that WRONG was the anagram indicator and the initially referred to the PN
12 will be obvious-once we see the answer
i also tried WI for initial letters of Wrong In.
I tried everything but what you lot did
12a lion tamer
8d esterhazy
6d jessica
6 Jessica ?
Maybe Lion Tamer refers to this song that I've never heard before
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHDlx8ewYuI
6 bravura
12 Must be lion tamer but very tenuous connection to music
forget bravura
I thought 6d might be IE (that is) around (framing)a word but not if the last letter is A
Jessica could be right (I only know the Almond Brothers track of that name though) if the framed refers to who Framed Roger Rabbit. I haven't worked the cheers out yet though
6 But a connection to opera ?
