Thank you, danny. I've heard of Patsy Cline and that would fit with the "country singer". The way I worked it out was C (chart topper) EIRE a country. CEIRE.

I looked at that but not find a singer with that name, nor another country to fit.

There are singers if you google it whose first name is ceire

but the dash gives it away as 'line' I agree
