Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

i've solved most of the clues but not many of them fit

They all have to be modified in a particular way, as dictated by the maxim in the perimeter. Have a look at the Setter's name! That gives a heavy hint.

Hello Doc HH, I'm in the same position as oldboot, will have another look, just doesn't click at all and the VERY empty perimeter is very upsetting. By the way, Ginger Mog is enjoying this heat-wave and spread out in the yard on his back, measures 3ft 4ins from nose to back legs!

Just enter the solved clues, then look at the clashes. It soon becomes apparent how the answers should be entered. Even the 13 light answers are thematically treated

Afraid the setter name didn't give even a light hint, even tried Mr Google and that was more confusing than ever. Have entered the clues I have and most seem to conform but have grave doubts about 29a which seemed a good answer at the time. Apart from the obvious change, nothing is even creeping (let alone leaping) out at me. Absolutely no nearer with the maxim though I can probably dig up a few relevant to lack of workable grey matter!
GM in disgrace, he was stalking our latest Blue-tit hatchings and now confined to quarters.
