I don't understand how the clue works except that a lion is a cat. I know that LION RAMPANT is a name for the royal standard of Scotland but can't relate that to the clue

It's a picture clue FF. It looks as Mac has described it an L,an eye, a ram and a punt

OK found a copy on line. It is simply a picture clue. Not sure where the above clue came from.
