What is the other unchecked letter with P?

For 4D . Unchecked are O and I. It is the setting.

This is all very well, and I am mightily impressed, but I am flummoxed, no idea what is going on and an finding the clues very hard. A few heavy hints for the slow learners would be much appreciated.

Devadolly, I got the unclued 19 D which gave me a big hint, and the unclued 15 D confirmed the thinking. If you want to post a couple of the clues, I'm sure we'd all help.

Hi DD,
Instead of giving you the unclued 19D, here are some hints on 19A etc.

19A is two letters for always and two letters for the Queen. That would give you the first letter for 19D.

23A is an anagram of the first two words.

37A is one of the nine sisters.

Now you have three letters for 19D.

19D is two words 4,5.

Enough to start?
