It may be worth retyping the clue for the second one. I seem to recall the second word in the answer being North (or was it south?)

The clue has also been seen as "in ireland-after brexit- heres where it points then or there ere disengaging" which doesn't seem quite right either, and the same pattern was given, but The North does seem to be the consensus. I don't get the wordplay though
