1A: Letters carried by KLM? Yes and no. I have A???A???. The third letter could be P so it could be ALPHABET but if it is I have no idea why.
14A: Group rarely worried so about going out. I have ???A?? The second letter could be O
2D: Music interrupting Frenchman and a severe French mistress. POMPADOUR springs to mind but I can't parse it.
4D: Club creates positions in Covent Garden. Ihave ??A?T?? If 1A is ALPHABET it begins with E
Apologies for so many. I've managed The Times Jumbo and The Telegraph. Maybe my brain is suffering from crossword fatigue!

1A pattern is A?P?A?E so it must be alaphabet.
4D ECARTES means that 14A now reads ?O?A?S and I am still stumped. NOMADS?
