Can't wait for Easter holidays, Tilly, and I'm going to be a bit more selective after Easter about the schools I work in. I have a few practice and mock papers to finish marking tomorrow.

FF, I have loads of functional red pens if you want them. I don't need them any more, thank goodness.

Thanks but I work at a few schools- some have purple pens for teacher marking (red is seen as too aggressive), some green and some red. i have to get it right as there are strict protocols for teacher marking, self-marking and corrections.

We ended up having to mark in pencil and the comments/suggestions for improvement were written in black ink.

A bit of a minefield, this marking lark. :-)
