Crossword is completed and in the post, but I'm not able to completely parse the wordplay of one clue:

3d Force out Speaker, one seeking affection (5) W?O?R

I've entered WOOER for one seeking affection, but brain has frozen and not able to grasp 'Force out Speaker' part of the clue. I imagine it relates to 'sounds like' Wooer?
