re 4D, 'rebuffs' will only work if qn says 'chastenS'

This still doesn't seem to fit together. Was the 11a clue practise then rather than practice? Is mortify definitelyely right? If STING is right then two letters were wrong in the ?E?E? pattern

Mine took 5 minutes to type as cursor kept freezing - so the mortify was not the answer to 4d (for which the clue was wrong anyway).

I'm confused too! I don't see how 'train' is correct!
