Scooping certain quiz setters state in their quizzes that they don't want people to ask for answers on here but they can ask for clues. I think that's what you are referring to. Almost everyone asking for crossword help are happy for you to give the answer and the parsing.

mazie - that is sensible but far too many answers are given without parsing which isn't really good because some people don.t feel they have completed a puzzle unless they can understand how the answer was arrived at. Just a view.
