Loose?

Loo (convenience) she ( direction)

That was my wordplay too- but I am not convinced release = loose. Should it be loosen?

It seems ther eis a verb "to loose "- eg to loose a boat from its moorings. I thought it was unloose.
I think loose can be a synonym for release: both are given as synonyms for absolve
