Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Still working on this. Having trouble with beginning to put answers in grid. The N answers have to cross with one 12 letter answer which I'm sure is Clytemnestra. But I'm also sure that the 7 letter N answer is New moon. This doesn't work so where am I going wrong please?

is top left across clue on second row down

In that case, Mamalynne, what is the second 4-letter down answer? I had put my 7-letter C as the first across clue, because I had no 4-letters left that began with a vowel, and could not imagine a - M - - answer beginning with a consonant.

Don't the N answers have to go 11th row down, right hand side, across and down? That is the only (9,7) I can see.

The "B" clues are incorrectly labelled as (8,8), they should be (7,9).
The Guardian has printed a correction note, but you have to scroll down below the addresses to see it.
