There's a place, near Glasgow, called Blochairn - that sounds like Block (a piece of concrete) and Cairn, something uneven?

Mmmm.......not sure about that one!
I was thinking along the lines of block (or bloc) as well as slab, but feel the word will be split around ("surrounds") a word that means uneven!?
Think I'm going to have to resort to going through the atlas region by region!
