2d Getting on with British in cause of union disputes losing days (11)

Is it EMBARKATION or EMBARCATION? As far as I can tell, it could be either. (Demarcation or Demarkation are both variant spellings; just to really annoy me, the Google Chrome Spellchecker tells me that Embarkation and Demarcation are words, but not Embarcation and Demarkation ...)

I'd go with C.
Good morning Danny, horrible day here, drizzle and strong wind.
Good morning Mac. Started off like that here, but is now quite fine.

Not a promising sign when "Embarcation" is defined as "Embarkation" though, is it?

Either a dodgy clue or I'm looking at too many US Dictionaries.
Could someone parse this one for me, please ?
morning Donny XX..OO..XX.. excuse Jim.. xx
Donny- Demarcation(Union dispute) minus d(day) + b(British)
Good morning Minty, XXOOXX.
Question Author
It's B[ritish] in [d]emarcation, but demarcation can be also spelled demarkation apparently.
Question Author
OK I'm going with the "C" -- at least partly because the interactive puzzle solve on the Times Website has a "show demarcation" option...
demarcation (union dispute), remove D (days), add B (British)
Thanks Danny, I was splitting the word up into pieces and did not spot the whole thing.
