The late MrG's family all get together for a couple of days at Christmastime......about thirty of us and this year the Yorkshire daughter was hosting......till the snow came and five of us couldn't make it.....
Today is beautiful......every flake of snow....and it was piled high here....has gone...the sun is shining...although my Secret Santa gift seems to be on its way to Devon......
The perfect day to jump in the car and head north....
Think I'll suggest Anne's idea of having our Christmas in June......x
No......no more ducks with ***......though my gift to the party was unusual and a hit....the one going to Devon is the one for me.....hope it's not kippers....x
Islay, I am always cheered when I hear you are having a good day :-) xxxx
It's baltic outside, still, and the few inches of snow haven't even threatened to melt yet.
Mr Alba did the shopping yesterday so the shopping list had to be blinking specific lol
They were not quite the words I used when I watched fluffy stuff falling from the sky.
Sending husbands to supermarkets is a deeply stressful event. The detail on the shopping list leaves me thinking 'Oh, clod of earth it, I'll clod of earthing do it myself.
