I don't know whether it is the wonderful weather which has addled my brain but I found this puzzle really difficult and still have a lot of clues unsolved. yesterday was another great day. His Nibs played (and was M of the M AGAIN!!!) and I watched. I was even interested in the game which was quite tight . The Crosse didn't get enough of a look in. But he took me to the pub again yesterday evening. The previous visit which I had been nervous about went really well. We talked and talked. It was great.I could become addicted to it.
even though I am not going to be able to finish the puzzle I would like help with one (big) clue which is driving me daft. "two votes by one country? It may lead to bloomers" I assume it's a flower but I simply cannot get my brain in gear.

Yes it was really great. As I indicated, a new experience for me. It's the experience I could get addicted to not the lager. Though I did enjoy that too. But not being used to it I took it nice and steady. His Nibs managed more but then he is more used to it.
