terse?
sort?
pivot?
Can't parse that , so may be wrong
12 sort
13 heart
13d hip
14 tut(u)

14 Tut, disapprove - Tutu would be the skirt.

PS Your queries are a bit hard to read as they're all running together..
VIP (a somebody) reversed +O( round) and T first letter of Turn
Yes, these would be easier to read if you could start each on a new line
Terse - a westerner minus answer
Heart- He(roic) + art ( old are)
Hip
Tut(u)
Pivot- Vip(somebody) reversed + t(heir) & o(round) reversed
12a s(magazine ) or sort = catalogue?
Mally- yes.
Where does the 'T' come from in 'Sort' ?
maybe clue should have said THIS catalogue then S OR T would have been hidden in the clue
I ask as I saw it parsed elsewhere yesterday as..

So + RT(magazine)

Which I was also unsure of.
I thought s (mag) or t(his)
I wasn't sure of the parse, but with the intersecting letters that was the only word that made any sense with the clue.
Agree with the answer of course.
I would like to know how the setter parsed it.
wonder if it should read this magazine or this catalogue
It's certainly more satisfying, yes.
