We were all confused by the 3 letters = lie= falsification. I susect it was atypo and should just have said 13 letters so lie is nothing to do with it.
Maybe need to change best answer again!

right - specification, exception and fuchsia all fits now - just leaves broadcast as ?e?m?d [ if music is correct for melodic sounds]
