Relative clause
Am I the only person on here that finds the recent Daily Mail crosswords so difficult as the clues are so obscure?

Thankyou Margo Tester for answer
You're welcome. Corylus - I find some easier that others
Your in good company corylus. I find them harder and take twice as long sometimes to complete them. As for parsing some of the answers. Dont ask. Like this one and Prime Minister ttoday. :-(
Retro - took me ages to work out ' girl embraces boy by the sea' - mari tim e ( Tim inside Marie)
Not keen on this clue.

//Relative clauses are clauses starting with the relative pronouns who*, that, which, whose, where, when. They are most often used to define or identify the noun that precedes them.//

Prime Minister

Brief - Prime
Title for surgeon - Mister round 'In'
So it's not just my brain that's packing in!
Margo
I had about three letters already for that clue and it seemed to jump straight out at me. Loads I struggle more with now. Hope dementia ain't setting in early. I do crosswords to stave that blight off. Hereditary I think. :-(
I can see part of sentence but the rest?
"THAT CRIMINAL IS GIVEN" is an example of a relative clause.
Thanks Mammy
Best I can see.
