MA (Massachusetts) + Say (for example) - sounds like (broadcast)

I realise there is no strongly pronounced 'R in my parse.

Totally unaware to this moment that the spelling with the final "s" was an anglicised alternative. You live and learn, don't you?

Morocco is a Kingdom, whether that qualifies as a State, not sure but it's certainly worth considering.
