Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I was delighted when I won the Daily Express Big Monday crossword for December 3 2018, overjoyed when I received the cheque but dismayed when it bounced. Yes the DE are passing dud cheques. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Not so far,but I have a cheque waiting to be banked. Competitions dept phone number is 0333 202 3390 if you want to check with them,

I have spoken with Helene Costas at the DE and she has started investigations. She believes that because the DE has recently changed owners (Reach plc) and therefore the signatory on the cheque is not being recognised. However, the cheque has been presented again today and been has not been honoured again.

That's not good form at all Etiennecat, you must get back onto them and tell them to pay to your paypal or directly into a bank a/c or something, my goodness, I thought one of our national papers were bad for payments. I hope you get sorted soon

I won this crossword a few years back - glad to say the cheque came within three weeks, and didn't bounce!

It's bad show to be still blaming a takeover that's almost a year old for lousy admin.

Things move on! My bank has now written to me to tell me the cheque has been refused by the 'paying bank' (DE) because it is a duplicate cheque. I don't understand what is happening because I paid in the cheque received. Is there some blame shifting going on here?
