Just finished the Azed, after starting it at about 22:45 and taking a couple of short tea breaks. That felt like a good crossword.

The Everyman, though, I did not enjoy. It might be coincidence but I did my first Azed in late November or early December, and Everyman seems to have gone off the boil a short time later. Even the number of help requests seems to reflect that, as more people are getting the answers but asking for help understanding why.

Anyway, I'm off to post these now, then back on my head.

I think it's a coincidence - Colin Gumbrell had been setting the Everyman puzzles for the last four years or so, but he retired in January, 3,771 being his last contribution. The standard of the puzzles since then has been the subject of considerable discussion, and not in a good way.
