Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

How many entries does the magazine receive each week? I accept it must vary greatly due to the range of difficulty depending on the setter but what are the chances of scooping a prize? Or, are we just taxing our brains for the satisfaction gained?

Quite a good chance. Most regulars including myself win quite often.
I've been doing it about 10 yrs and must have won 10 times.

I once asked the Daily Express how many entries they got for a weekly prize crossword.The answer was approximately 3,000.

Don't be discourage Malc, I have lost count of the number of wins I have had over the years.

I've won it several times and been a runner up.I was a runner up in a Christmas one and got a bottle of champagne as well.
I've won lots of prizes over the years doing crosswords and that's a lot of years.I've never bought a dictionary,they've all been prizes :)
