Thanks all.I knew that 1a was an anagram and I am pretty good at them normally.Unfortunately only had one letter to help.Theres obviously been a different compiler at work and some nights I really struggle as I cannot get my head round the questions and many of the answers quite often dont make any sense.Ironically I gave up on the express many years ago as I found their crossword too easy!
