Struggled with this last night band could do with help on a couple. 22a Ed's latest doobreys lie on a column facing south (9) ne?e????s; 21a Gave a degree to Spenser perhaps, after academy dons inducement (9) l?u??a?ed. May be empty cells in grid. (They really love Ed Spenser in these puzzles - I'll need to get a Spensarian dictionary, methinks!)

LAUREATED - 'to' = AT+ED (Spenser) after A(cademy) inside LURE
