I have found answers for just about everything in this puzzle. Not easy as he has such wide ranging topics. But one clue has me totally stumped. if anyone can put me out of my misery, I'd be grateful.
"A simple Spanish instrument of parchment stretched over a ceramic pot" is the clue
I have some letters already *R*B*M*A. I'm pretty confident that they are correct
Does anyone know what this instrument is please?

Thank you (sorry Mamyalynne!). I Had "schoolmarms" for the answer to a connecting clue and I think the correct answer must be "schoolmaams"
