Its a Vlad, so I'm not going to waste brain cycles on trying to parse his clues! I'll ask here instead! So I've jammed in words that fit and have the feeling that most of them are correct, which is about as good as it gets for me with Vlad. But there's one clue left and I can't think of a word which fits, so I think I must have messed up somewhere.

I'm sure of the C.
The A belongs to 11a 20 across content to look a pillock (5). I have OKAPI which is hidden in the clue. 20 across was BROWSER, so I don't really get the parsing. Is OKAPI right?
The I belongs to 13a Fraud succeeded, turning over liberal (9). I have SWINDLING, which I couldn't parse, so I suspect the error is here.

TBH I really didn't get the parsing on 50% of the clues. Just can't get Vlad.

That sorts that perfectly, thanks. In fuzzy not fully-awake mode I was confusing BIRETTA with BERETTA and thought the clue was something about shooting people.
