47d. Understatement is inaccurate about drink (7)

I have put my guesses above, but would appreciate confirmation, or otherwise, and how I should parse the answer.

Haizey, I wondered why 58 A didn't really work as it was written, so I checked the puzzle. It was 'Investigative, like a big snitch?', so Nosy works better.
