1) Help for witness still partly assembled (8) P?O???I? 2) Heads or Tails, possibly (6) ???N?S 3) Don't employ several solicitors to pursue argument to the end (4,2,3) H?V? I? O?T The answer has to be HAVE IT OUT, which is clearly "to pursue argument to the end", but I do not understand the wordplay about not employing several solicitors. Could somebody please explain it. Many Thanks.

Looks like 'have 1 tout'

I know the definition is Have It out, - my question was to explain the wordplay.
Help for witness is a photofit, and a still is a pic.
