Good afternoon,
A nice-looking challenge from Rebus! I was expecting something much more difficult, but am surprised to see through many of the clues. Each to their own but just passing on that Derek Harrison made a point in his last monthly message that he really disapproves of answers being provided for a whole host of clues for his monthly prize puzzle in this way.
Thanks, Eagledave. I always have some sympathy for the smaller setters, organisers! I have seen setters comment on here before, sometimes about the sheer volume of help requested.
Matakari, this is a very recent puzzle, it might have been worth persevering - even for a bit.
Maybe asking for hints for 8 answers at a time is a bit much ....suppose it depends if you actually enter the competition having had a lot of help. Ask your last couple maybe....then wouldn't feel guilty entering ?
Thanks, Saladdodger. some interesting thoughts. It could have prompted more discussion, but I think answers - and prizes - matter more to some solvers!
