Good day,
Thanks to subtle hints from NACW and ProfessorMaisie and a bit of my detective work, I’ve got all the unclueds. Some help with the following would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

30 (D) Neat, bringing in running water? A reverse (6) : D?FE?T
( Seeing DEFEAT/DEFECT, but cannot parse it… )

Glad all the earlier stuff (stuff of which was definitely not 'subtle'!) helped. You have mistakes in 8 and 37.

37 Catch - Cat+Ch.

8 Egested, sounds like 'E Jested.
30 Deft, neat, with Ea, running water ( a favourite in crosswords) inside.

Many thanks, all! I need more confidence in myself. I had "egested" at first, but then went astray with the epithet for 11(a). The final one now with parsing, please. Thanks in advance!

As well as needing more confidence in yourself, you might find getting hints only would help you more - being given the answers, and the parsings, doesn't move your solving along!
