Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I am.not repeating the preamble.
I have all solutions with generous help from this forum
But some of my answers seem to be wrong.
I have figured out what the perimeter letters hint at. But am not getting them all in my crossers
Please check these:

I'm rubbish at even the most basic cryptics, so I'm totally lost with hard ones! However that nice Mr Google tells me that 'a girl I've just met' is a reference to the lyrics of 'Maria', from West Side Story. Does that help at all?

10a plouks is correct.. with P U S ignored in word play
13a again correct with P E B A N ignored ...the other 3 ...ARI come from mARIa like Buenchico says

in 2d column the thematic starts EMPER....
and 3d column only the T of 3d is clued so you need the other 4 letters as the start of the next thematic
