Please explain these to me.
1. Spread out and remove twists-the cape should be fine. Ans unfurl -but how does the cape should be fine work?
2.Coach horse in accident finally retired. Ans charabanc. As H would be horse, thought that an accident must be carabanc? but no such word seems to exist.
3.Resign from partnership, out of pocket. Ans stand down. Out of pocket may be down but can't see the partnership bit.
Thanks

2 Arab is the horse, inside Chanc(e), finally retired/drop the last letter.
Sorry, I should have said Chance, accident...

3 Is Stand a partnership in sporting terms, cricket maybe?
2 - 'arab' (horse, in) 'chanc(e)' (finally retired)

3 - a partnership/stand, as in 2 batsmen in cricket, eg
1 Uncurl, remove twists, swaps the C, cape for F, fine...so Unfurl.
1 - unfurl from 'uncurl' (remove twists) with 'f(ine)' for 'c(ape)'
Is there an echo...?

Only kidding, Lie-in King!
