22D Parts of poetry can be a chore for schoolkids. I have L?N?S and my best guess is LONGS (i.e. syllables), while a SLOG is a chore, but that leaves N as the odd letter out, and I can't see the schoolkids part. Help please?
Thank you Mamya and Captain2! That meaning of lines wasn't familiar to me. Though now I recall from my grade-school days (about 65 years ago) being assigned to copy a page of the dictionary as a punishment. I'm sure it was much more interesting than writing the same sentence over and over.
