Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Indeed, great fun. I thought the clues were somewhat harder than usual for this setter but all fair and solvable with plenty of Chalicea's usual wit. I didn't know the source material and am pleased to have discovered it!

Hagen and I must be the only two people in the world who didn't know the source material - Gness was outraged at my ignorance!.

Lovely puzzle - some harder than usual clues for this setter - now plenty of time to shout at the Rugby this weekend.

I really enjoyed that. And some tough clues in the mix - I still haven't resolved one - and indeed needed to reverse engineer some answers from the instruction. Great fun.

Yes, harder than we've come to expect from Chalicea, but that's no bad thing.
A goodly number of years ago, I grew to hate the source material - in direct contrast to a family member who loved it!

Yes, a (welcome) tougher Chalicea than usual. Shame there are several ways of completing the instruction. So long as all are permitted

A nice mix of some straightforward clues and some which are still puzzling me. Personally felt there was an unambiguous way to complete the instruction. Guess it would be surprising if that hadn't been vetted

Thanks Chalicea - Excellent clues as ever. It's not easy making a 100% set of additional wordplay clues read well.

The only minor disappointment was that, being familiar with the source material, once the penny dropped (with around 30% of the grid complete), I was able to confidently identify all 37 cells there and then.

Am finding the NW quadrant very tough. After about an hour this morning I finally managed to solve 1 clue (hurrah), still leaving 6 others (doh)

Frustratingly, the instruction is not yet clear, despite having a lot of the letters.

And although I think I have the answers to the 5 unclued entries they are not helping me to identify the theme.

Time for a run to clear my head!
