46 Stacte.

I can't do the others, either. :-)
15 Calum?
2 Mynah
20 impish?
28 inholder
20 Toyish, playful. T is H, is disrupting Thurd=sday, with Oy, grandchild, inside.
13 Tequilla, variation of Tequila, drink. Tea, drink, with Quill, toothpick, inside.
Why is OY... grandchild, NACW?
PS I wouldn't describe my poet as being 'in the middle of the grid'. I'm glad this is the last batch, Matakari!
Scottish dialect for grancdchild Tilly2.
Sorry, Tilly2, I missed you. Oy, oye and oe are Scottish words for grandchild - they crop up quite regularly!

Many thanks, all! Any help for 48 ( A ), NACW?
Thanks, Matakari. 48 is Guelph, ancient partisan. (Gu, viol and Help, anagrammed)
Question Author
Many thanks again, NACW! This time I think I've got the poem and the author.
I'll be back after completing the grid!
Thanks, Matakari - we'll have a concerted sigh of relief!
Question Author
The "concerted sigh of relief" is in order, NACW! It's done.
I got sidetracked earlier by Ernst thinking he was the poet
referred to.
Matakari, thanks. I'm relieved you/we got this one finished (especially after your last encounter with Pabulum!).
P.S. Is the poet Greek?
No, he is English (4 letters)
Thank you, Novalis. That narrows it down a bit. :-)
