But I figured out the unclued entries and replacement of verbs.

I could not figure out the answer to 1a,but I replaced it with the object correctly.
I could not parse 7d.

Should have googled Elms London.

Must admit Hankir that I got all but one of the verbs in retrospect. The name of the one who nearly killed his sister gave me the way in.
