11 Ac :- Dud? Roger almost! (5) M?O?E. Why is it MOORE? 25Ac :- Animal sound coming from low church (5) M?O?H. It looks like MOO (low) + CH (church) = MOOCH, but why is MOOCH an "Animal sound"? CotW :- Kit between two poles, when temperature drops (4) ???? (Originally from The independent, Quince).

Thank you geeveo41 & Captain2, but how about MOOCH?
Moo is animal sound
Ch low church
But where's the definition, Cash? Unless there is an obscure definition for 'mooch' meaning an animal sound?

(Doesn't the 'moo' come from 'low'?)
.... sorry Cash, didn't read all of your parsing.
Question Author
Thanks, Cashier, but your parsing doesn't provide a definition for the answer MOOCH. My reading of it was low = MOO and church = CH giving MOOCH as the answer, but that means "Animal sound" is the definition and I can't see how or why MOOCH means Animal sound.
I feel as if definitions are missing! Kiss works, with Captain's parsing, but it's like Mooch, I can't see the definition.
I think the CoTW is an &Lit clue.
I think captain has it.
Although 'kit's is doing double duty which is a no,no.

Kit for when the temperature drops = ski's

Don't forget, it mentions between two poles.

S ki(t) S

Or it is possibly a poor &lit clue.

As for the others.
I can't see any definitions.

Very poor clues by Quince, unless I can't see his brilliance!

Oh, thanks for that, Captain2. I didn't know why the CotW was the CotW, what was involved, anything really - I've seen only a few clues on AB!
Meant to add. The ski's would be between two (ski) poles as you are skiing
