All done save the endgame. I take it you must change 10a and 30a to give your 'member of the class not matching the description'. But how to change them?
Oh also, haven't managed 26d.

RickGDG, you have to change two answers, but not the two you nentioned! In line with the other themed words, I looked for anagrammable answers. The 'member of the class..' is in a fairly common place.
