A very pleasing puzzle until the last 3 unclued at 11, 31 and 33.

I had searched Two other playwrights till I hit upon the correct one. Then you have a multitude of Plays to go through until you find the particular play.
My apologies Hankir. The highlighted word is indeed associated with those two names. But it is not a play by either that you are looking for. Sorry for the confusion :-(
One of the trios could fit into another, which had me scratching my head; I also noticed that there is another link between the theme word and the “play” trio, in the form of a location….
It's very kind of you all but I can't take any credit for the link to the play - I was stuck on the 3rd set too, until I saw jadzia49's hint on another site.
I was very lucky with the third trio as I wouldn't mind £1 for every time I've heard the highlighted name and 31 down in quizzes. The usual form is asking for the names of the central characters of the play and occasionally giving their names and asking for the play.
