Just two parsing queries :- Check energy in sweet food (4,6) S?E? G?N?E?. Looks like STEM GINGER, but is Ginger valid for "energy", and is STEM GINGER really valid for "sweet food"?.
What peer has, back from old country with retro-style fashion (7) D?K?D?M. Obviously has to be DUKEDOM (what peer has). I can see UK as "country" and DOM as mod (reversed), but don't get the D..E or how it all hangs together.
