Don't count on it. I couldn't sleep, So cracked on with it. Got all the clued (bar 1) The possibilities for the unclued is mind blowing. Get ready for a long day !

Doc is in one of his environmentally- friendly moods, recycling where possible. He's had similar themes in the past and at least one of his clues was used recently. Oh, and I think there are unclued entries which might not have definitive, single answers...
Matakari should be pleased, there's plenty of anagrams.

Yes, Plenty of easy anagrams to get. But I'm not looking forward to a laborious trudge to find 4 sets of 3 different items. I think I may have 15D (and that alone scares me to find the other two) Oh well, Time to give them a go :-)

Oh !
I took it as they are all in common relating to a certain theme. But they are segregated into groups of three. I.E:

Theme E.G. 'Types of Transport'

Train, Tram, Bogey (all travel on lines)

Bicycle, Car, Motorbike (all have wheels)

Snow-ski, Tank, Bulldozer (all have tracks) ETC

I'll have a rethink later, now you've said that. My head is still spinning. lol :-)

You was absolutely right NAC, I looked too deep again initially. Was looking for a challenge. What transpired was an absolute let down. And now I see what Novalis meant about 3d and 17d. And no doubt possible others !
So if anyone comes asking for help. There will no doubt be contrasting answers. Very sloppy !

Thanks, Klazo. Doc's puzzles have suffered from similar failures - ambiguities, possible options - in the past. Some great clues could, of course, have made up for that...
